Zella Mae Petty

Obituary, Zella Mae McGowan Petty 6/11/1935 - 5/15/2008 Zella Mae McGowan Petty, 73, a resident of Sweet Home passed on May 15th, 2008. She was born in Mt. Grove, Missouri on June 11th, 1935. Zella married Donald Lenard Petty in 1950. They had a son, Daniel Lee Petty, born December 28th, 1950 - died December 14th, 1955. Then having a daughter, Debbie Jo Petty Mathews on September 4th, 1960. Don and Zella lived in Independence from 1950 to 1976 then moving to Dallas and Salem, finally ending in Sweet Home. She worked for OCE/WOSC in the maintenance dept., retiring after 25 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Don, of 58 years, and daughter Debbie Mathews.
