Obituary, Yolanda Avila April 13, 1951 ~ August 23, 2008 Yolanda Avila of Independence, Oregon passed away August 23rd at the age of 57. Yolanda was born April 13, 1951 in Mexico. Married Jose Luis Avila Sr. April 17, 1967, they moved together to Oregon in 1968. Yolanda enjoyed gardening, cooking and her roses. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Independence. Survivors include her husband Jose Luis Avila Sr. of Independence, son; Saul Avila of Salem, Oregon, Daughter; Rosa Styles of Cleveland, Ohio, Sons; Art Avila, Jose "Curly" Avila Jr. and Freddy Avila of Independence, Oregon. 15 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Visitation will be 1pm to 5pm Wednesday August 27th at Farnstrom Mortuary. Graveside Service will be 2:00pm Thursday at Hilltop Cemetery in Independence.
