Virginia "Ginger" Dorthy McKinney of Monmouth, Oregon passed away April 2, 2011 at her home at the age of 69.
Virginia was born in Chicago, Illinois to Frank and Oma Hendricks Redlin on July 23, 1941. She worked as a computer technician and bookkeeping for Marion County in Salem, Oregon and other various companies. She enjoyed painting, photography, genealogy, sewing and crocheting.
Survivors include her husband Elden McKinney of Monmouth, Oregon. Sons; Frank Preston of Salem and James Preston of Rogue River. Step-sons; Patrick Preston of Astoria, Robert Preston of Seattle. Step-daughters; Susan Preston of Salem, Carrie Thomas of Oregon City, Brenda Schultz of Hillsboro. 20 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren.
Memorial Service will be held 1:30pm Saturday April 16, 2011 at Farnstrom Mortuary 410 Monmouth St. Independence, Oregon 97351.
