Verva Mae Vaughn

Verva Mae Vaughn passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009 at home. Verva was born June 30, 1928 to Ralph and Helen Bricker in Eugene, Oregon. She married Burton Vaughn Christmas Day 1946. Burton's work moved the family around the Pacific Northwest from Seattle to Anchorage, from Tillamook to Valsetz, but they spent the last 46 years in Monmouth. No mater what her latest hobby Verva threw herself whole heartedly into it. Whether it was gathering glass floats at the Oregon coast 168 in one day, reading every Nora Roberts book ever written, or sewing and quilting wall to wall material in her sewing room she pursued her hobbies with great zest! Verva is survived by the love of her life Burton, daughter Susan Bob Bumgarner, son Ralph Marilyn Vaughn, grandchildren Doug Kylie Jones, Rik Pam Jones, Amanda Dan Callies, Ben Erin Vaughn, Sam Vaughn, Andy Vaughn, and great grandchildren Cory, Kyler, Madison, Alison Jones, Xander Vaughn, Flynn and Rhett Jones. Verva requested no service be held.
