Obituary, Verna G. Stee Krauger December 28, 1916 ~ June 21, 2007 Verna G. Stee Krauger of Monmouth, Oregon passed away June 21, 2007 at her home in Monmouth she was 90 years old. Verna was born December 28, 1916 on a farm in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota to George and Leora Thompson. Lived in Big Bear Lake, California and moved to Oregon in the early 1960's with husband Byron Stee. She worked for Commercial Bank in Monmouth and retired from OCE now Western Oregon University. Byron passed away in 1978. In 1982 she married Frank Krauger he passed away in 1999. Verna enjoyed Crafts, Sewing and Flowers. Graveside Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday June 27th, at Fir Crest Cemetery in Monmouth.
