Vella Y. Birch

Vella Y. Birch of Monmouth, Oregon formally of Silverton, Oregon died November 1, 2004 she was 93 years old. Vella was born November 24, 1910 in Love Co. Oklahoma to Albert and Mertie Lacy Rhodes. She worked as a school teacher in Oklahoma in the 1930's then a rate clerk for truck lines from 1940's till retirements in the 1970's. She was an avid golfer continued golfing into her 80's lived in Marion County from 1976 till 2004. She also enjoyed quilting, crocheting and family history researching.
