Obituary, Valerio Inocente Ascencio January 21, 1949 ~ January 11, 2007 Valerio Inocente Ascencio of Independence, Oregon died January 11, 2007 at his home in Independence at the age of 56. Valerio moved to Oregon from Peru, and became a Permanent Resident of the United States in 1999. He worked for Marquis Spas for two years. During the last five years, he fought a courageous battle against lung disease. In Peru, Valerio was a Christian Pastor for four years, and continued to share his strong faith until his last day in this world. His family and friends will miss him very much.
