Thomas Alfred Thurston

Thomas Alfred Thurston of Independence, Oregon died July 24, 2005 at the Salem Hospital he was 71 years old. Thomas was born May 2, 1934 in Payette County, Idaho to Arthur and Edith Thurston. Attended Independence Elementary School and Independence High School. Lived in Polk County most of his life except for the Military Service. Thomas enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting also spending time with his family, hiking in the mountains and camping. Survivors: Laurie Jenson Daughter Eugene, Oregon Penny Brodus Daughter Dallas, Oregon Lisa Ryan Daughter Dallas, Oregon Timothy Thurston Son Dallas, Oregon Thomas Lee Thurston Son Camas, Washington Chuck Mola Step-Son Penn. Zachary Thomas Mersch Step-Son Dallas, Oregon Lewis Thurston Brother Independence, Oregon Mary McDaniel Sister Independence, Oregon 17 Grandchildren 2 Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Edith, wife Anne Elizabeth and Sister Shirley Lowry.
