Obituary, Theron Gordon Miller July 16, 1921 ~ April 3, 2006 Theron Gordon Miller of Monmouth, Oregon passed away April 3, 2006 in Dallas, Oregon he was 84 years old. Theron G. Miller was born and raised in Parkersburg, Oregon to Henry and Ethel Miller. Married Virginia Horton and served in the Air Force during WWII, stationed in Panama. Returned to Oregon to raise his family and worked for Coos Bay Timber Company as a supply truck driver until March of 1961. When he opened Millers Service Station of Independence which he ran until the 1990's when he retired. Theron was a member of the Independence Elks Lodge, American Legion and was on the Planning Commission for number of years. He enjoyed the time spent with his family and friends. Survivors included Franklin Miller and his wife JoAnn of Monmouth, Oregon, Steve Miller of Monmouth, Oregon, Milynda Rhoads granddaughter of Pryor, Oklahoma, Nola Morlan granddaughter of Salem, Oregon and Corkie Colen sister in law on Monmouth, Oregon. Memorial Service will be held Saturday April 8, 2006 at the First Baptist Church in Independence. Arrangements Entrusted to Farnstrom Mortuary, Independence.
