Independence - Theodora "Teddy" Wendt passed away in her Independence home on February 28, 2013 at the age of 74, with the love of her family and friends around her. She was born July 6, 1938 to John and Eleanor Foster in Enterprise, Oregon.
Teddy married Dean Wendt and was homemaker, mom and grandmother to all. Her hobbies included fishing and dancing, and she enjoyed camping, barbequing, and spending time and laughing with friends and family. Her children and grandchildren were her passion, and she was known for her open heart and loving hands. She was always there for those she loved, and she lived her life to the fullest.
Teddy was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Wendt, and two sons. She is survived by her son Sherman Burleson of Salem; daughter Rosetta & (Robin) Beauchamp of Oklahoma; son Rick & (Cheryl) Burleson of Salem; son Aaron & (Bianca) Wendt of Independence; and 13 grandchildren.
