Susan “Sue” Pauline DeNoyer, born in Bellflower California on August 27th 1958 was the fourth of six children born to Les and Barbara Hamrick. God called her home on June 30th 2020 at the age of 61.
As a child she grew up on a farm, sharing memories of fresh baked bread and cows milk daily. She didn’t grow up with much, but she never went hungry and always had the love of her family. Her childhood helped shape the woman she was to become. Hard working, compassionate, and always caring for the needs of others made her the amazing daughter, sister, aunt and mother that we all knew her to be.
Sue attended Lane Community College while working and caring for her family. She became the first in her family to earn a higher education degree in 1993. Shortly afterwards she moved to Independence to start her new career at Western Oregon State College. She retired from the Fire Services Program in June of 2018 with aspirations of traveling and spending more time with her family, friends and especially her granddaughter.
During her life she loved and inspired countless people.
“And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgive one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”Ephesians 4:32
Farnstrom Mortuary is caring for the family.
