Sharon was born in Louisville, Kentucky on June 30, 1942. She spent her very young years in Kentucky. She then moved to Oregon with her mother and grandmother. She attended catholic school in Salem for 12 years. In 1960 she married William Savage, and had two children, Brenda and William Jr. He preceded her in death in 1996.
She worked her way through college and obtained her teaching certificate. She taught in Nevada and Alaska on the Tundra, and retired in 2009. She married her husband Robert in 2010, and he survives her.
She will be missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by Robert, her daughter Brenda Walston, son William Savage, daughter-in-law Sheryl, three sisters, one brother and six grandchildren.
She was loved by so many people and will be forever remembered for her compassionate soul.
