Sandra Fournier passed away on November 26, 2019 at her Monmouth residence at the age of 72. She was born on February 23, 1947 to Leon and Mildred Fournier in Riverside, California. She received her Master's Degree at UC Berkeley, and was an accountant and business manager thereafter. Sandra married Sylvan (Van) Garmin in Alameda, California on December 30, 1992.
Sandra enjoyed had a variety of hobbies and interests including reading and watching movies, taking road trips, going out to dinner and the beach, and her convertible corvette.
Both intelligent and wise, Sandra was also always giving and helpful. She helped many people with housing. She loved animals, and her dream was to go on a safari to Africa.
Sandra is survived by her children Daniel Louis Heinemann of Livermore, CA; Kristina Louise Frances Heinemann of Peoria, AZ; William James Faas of Oakland, CA; Abram Michael Faas of Salem, OR; Michal Katherine Hanna of Vancouver, WA; grandchildren Joshua and Jacqueline Heinemann; Jessica Nieto; Jordan and Jada Warrell; Angie Torres; Paul, Samuel and Xavier Echevarria; and Adam, Bridget and Gaia Faas.
Sandra's life will be celebrated privately. Farnstrom Mortuary is caring for the family.
