Ruth A. Ochoa

Ruth A. Ochoa March 30, 1957 - November 18, 2005 SALEM - Ruth went to walk with out Lord Jesus Christ after a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Pomona, California to Louis and Edith Rock. She grew up in Oregon and Washington. She graduated from Central High School in Monmouth, Oregon in 1975. She earned her nursing degree from Chemeketa Community College in 1976. She was a nurse at Salem Hospital for nearly 30 years. Ruth is survived by her husband of 28 years, Rogelio; her son, Ro Ochoa and his wife, Karen; her daughter, Rosa Rupp and her husband, Dave; her mother, Edith Rock; her sister, Mary Rock; her niece and nephew, Mackenzie and Zach; her two grandsons, Samuel and Isaiah; and her best friend and "sister", Sue Tanner. She was preceded in death by her father, Louis and her grandson, Jonathan. A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m., Tues., Nov. 22 at Salem Alliance Church.
