Dr. Ruth Elizabeth Lautenbach April 7, 1909 ~ May 18, 2006 Dr. Ruth Elizabeth Lautenbach of Salem, Oregon Formerly of Monmouth died May 18, 2006 in Salem, Oregon at the age of 97. Born in Pella, Iowa. Attended Central College in Pella, Iowa for two years before receiving her B.S. in PE and a M.A. at the University of Iowa and a DR. at the University of Colorado. After teaching for 7 years at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa she taught at O.C.E now Western Oregon University until her retirement in 1974. At her request no services will be held. Private Interment will be at Fir Crest Cemetery in Monmouth, Oregon. Arrangements Entrusted to Farnstrom Mortuary, Independence.
