Ruby Evelyn Gordon

Ruby Evelyn Gordon passed away on September 23, 2005. She was born in Marysville, Kansas on January 22, 1929 to Henry and Lydia Forbes. She married Bud Gordon on August 4, 1946 in Lincoln, Nebraska. A few months later, they settled in Washington where they lived for 20 years. They moved to Monmouth, Oregon in June of 1966. She is survived by her four children, Dianne and Terry Hulford, Roseanne and Ron Boitz, Cliff and Janis Gordon and Norma Sieg/Ron DeVolder. She is survived by nine grandchildren: Annalise and Tim Hulford, Phillip, Harley and Marc Boitz, Ken Gordon, and Matt and Levi Sieg and six great grandchildren, Adara Mogden, Caleb, Tianna and Haylee Gordon, McKenna and Dylan Sieg. She was preceded in death by her husband Bud, her grandchildren Christopher and Roger Gordon, Elizabeth Sieg, and great grandchildren Ethan and Ayden Gordon. Services for Ruby will be 2:00 PM Monday, September 26th, at Farnstrom Mortuary, Independence. Ruby's favorite charities were the American Diabetes Association and the American Cancer Society.
