Obituary, Rose Ellen Peterson Davis July 22, 1942 ~ June 28, 2006 Rose Ellen Peterson Davis of Monmouth, Oregon passed away in her sleep just before her 64th birthday. She was born in Salem to Edward & Ellen Peterson. She lived in Salem; The Dalles; Sparks, Nevada; and Monmouth, Oregon. She was employed at Van's Motel as a manager; The Nugget Hotel as a housekeeper and Zim's Brau Haus in The Dallas as a Bartender/Waitress. Her favorite things were Christmas, Movies, Music, Electronic gadgets, Lucille Ball and sports. Rose is preceded in death by her mother and father; a sister, Margaret "Peggy" McGuire and a brother Les "Gene" Peterson. Survivors include her daughters Lori Butler, Lynne Butler and Becky Robb all of Salem; Her sons Chad Butler of Salem and Joe Richards of Washington; Sisters Shirley Jones and Lorraine Bohanan both of Salem and Sandra Peterson of Independence, and brothers William and Robert Peterson both of Salem; 11Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 pm Friday July 7, 2006 at Minto Brown Park in Salem. Private internment at Belcrest Memorial Park in Salem, Oregon Arrangements Entrusted to Farnstrom Mortuary, Independence.
