Richard Ediger August 2, 1925 ~ August 29, 2009 Richard Ediger of Independence, Oregon passed away Saturday August 29, 2009 at the age of 84. Richard was born in Toledo, Oregon on August 2, 1925. Richard is a US Army Veteran of WWII. He logged and ran heavy equipment in Polk County timber industry. He retired from a Salem road construction company in 1991. Survivors include his wife Shirley married 8-13-1949 son Allen Ediger. 7 brothers and sisters and their families. At Richards request no funeral service will be held. Celebration of life and lunch will be 1:00pm September 13th at the Ediger farm 8500 Rogers Rd. Independence.
