Obituary, Raymond Theadore Sullivan Ted February 2, 1952 ~ April 21, 2006 Raymond Theadore Sullivan Ted of Dallas, Oregon passed way in his home Friday April 21, 2006 with his sisters, Kathy and Marilyn and his wife Nancy by his side. Son of Harry and Charlotte Sullivan. Ted was born in Dallas, Oregon on February 2, 1952. Ted was raised on a farm near Monmouth, entered the United States Army in 1970 and was honorably discharged in 1973. He returned to the Monmouth area where he married Nancy Engblom of Independence, Oregon in 1974. Ted's passions included motorcycling, fishing and hunting which he shared with his many friends. You could find Ted blasting down one of the local back roads on his Harley or touring the Valsetz country on his unique red motorcycle with Nancy in the sidecar. He spent many hours fishing on the Siletz River when the town of Valsetz existed. His father in Law believed he could catch a fish out of a mud puddle. A Self taught naturalist with an extensive knowledge of history and religion. Ted's ability to remember and deliver a great joke at any moment was appreciated by all his friends. In 2004, Ted's dream of opening a motorcycle repair and customization shop was realized. His honest ness, generosity, sense of humor, and sincere nature will be missed. He was a member of the NRA, ABATE, and the Am Vets. Family and Friends are invited to remember him at a get together at the Boondocks Bar and Grill in Falls City Sunday May 21, from 2-5 PM. Arrangements Entrusted to Farnstrom Mortuary in Independence.
