Obituary ~ Ramon C. Coronado October 21, 1938 ~ July 26, 2009 Ramon M. Coronado of Independence, Oregon passed away July 26, 2009 at the age of 70. Ramon was born October 21, 1938 in Littlefield, Texas. Grew up in Edinburg, Texas. He married Guadalupe Garza in March 21, 1956 and moved to Oregon in 1963. He worked for Boise Cascade for 32 years retiring in 2000. Ramon was a Master Knight for the Knights of Columbus at St. Patrick Catholic Church. He loved cars, hunting and was a self taught musician who loved music. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Survivors: Guadalupe Coronado, Wife, Independence, Oregon Irma Oliveros, Daughter, Monmouth, Oregon Alex Coronado, Son, Independence, Oregon Robert Coronado, Son, Salem, Oregon Joe Coronado, Son, Monmouth, Oregon Ramon Coronado Jr., Son, Tacoma, Washington Oralia Ojeda, Daughter, Independence, Oregon Vicky Coronado, Daughter, Salem, Oregon Mario Coronado, Son, Seattle, Washington 23 Grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren Proceeded in death by son: Edward Coronado who died in 1983. Visitation will be from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday July 28th with Rosary at 7pm at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30am Wednesday July 29th at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Vault Interment following at Hilltop Cemetery in Independence. Reception will follow graveside service at St. Patrick Catholic Church.
