Monmouth - Ralph Weston passed away in his Monmouth residence on March 15, 2016 at the age of 77. He was born November 28, 1938 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Oscar Horace and Opal Ella Lee (Mathews) Weston.
Ralph graduated from Central High School in 1958. He married Martha Dell Palmer in Independence, and they raised three children, Sheila, David and Dell. He worked at Boise Cascade as a dryer tender and in maintenance until his retirement in 2002. He enjoyed his family farm, track, camping, rooster fights, and fishing, as well as raising raspberries and guppies. He was a regular at the breakfast club at McDonalds and at the casino. His family was his priority, and they always came first.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Doyle and Horace Weston, and close friend Bernard (Binky) Timmons. He is survived by his children Sheila Raber of Salem, David Weston of Monmouth, and Dell Weston of Dallas; grandchildren Tara Price of Dallas, Makayla Weston of Portland, Evan Weston of Dallas; two great-grandchildren; sister Mary Carver; and his dog Landon.
Ralph's life will be celebrated on Saturday, March 26, 11 am at Independence Women's Club, 340 S 3rd St, Independence, OR, with a reception following. Inurnment will be at Hilltop Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Farnstrom Mortuary. Memories and condolences at FarnstromMortuary.com.
