Obituary ~ Paul Allen Hartline October 23, 1928 ~ October 7, 2009 Paul Allen Hartline of Salem, Oregon formerly of Independence, Oregon passed away in his sleep on October 7, 2009, he died of cancer. He was born in Akron, Ohio to Harold and Ella Hartline. He graduated from Akron Central High School. Paul worked in the grocery business from the age of 13 until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool and talking politics. He was preceded in death by his wife Lucille. Survivors include son John Hartline of Independence, Oregon daughters Cathy Kaiser and April Hartline of Salem, Oregon sisters Lorna Adams of Sacramento, California, Linda Wilson of Akron, Ohio and companion Donna Medlock of Salem, Oregon. 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Contributions can be made to the South Salem Senior Center. At Paul's request no services will be held.
