Norton T. Ohren of Dallas, Oregon died March 2, 2006 at the Salem Hospital with family by his side he was 87 years old. Norton was born in Minnesota And Proud Of It Served in the US Army from 1941 to 1945 as a Staff Sergeant. Moved to California after the service and married Viola Hagner on February 28, 1947 in Auburn, California then moving to Salem in the early 50's working for Oregon Pulp Paper Mill. After Oregon Pulp Paper Mill shut down he worked for Willamette Industries in Dallas, then moving to Dallas in 1963. After Viola died in 1995 he moved to Albany to live with his daughter Sandra. Norton enjoyed Fishing, Gardening and is Grandkids. SURVIVORS: Frederic Clark Son Silverton, Oregon Gary A. Ohren Son Independence, Oregon Sandra J. Martin Daughter Albany, Oregon 7 Grandchildren 10 Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by his wife Viola, His Parents and all 12 siblings. Funeral Service with Military Honors will be held 11:00 am Thursday March 9, 2006 at Grace Bible Fellowship 33990 McFarland Rd. Tangent, Oregon 97389. Luncheon will follow church service.
