Mitchell Allen Curtis

Monmouth - Mitchell Allen Curtis passed away in Corvallis on July 8 at the age of 67.  He was born October 27, 1950 in Tillamook, Oregon to Ivan and Elena Curtis.
After graduating in 1968, Mitch married Christine Dunn on June 20, 1970 in Oretown, Oregon.  They had two sons, Jason and Jeremy.  Mitch worked as a truck driver.  He was a very social person, enjoying visiting with friends over coffee and spending time in his RV and Camaro.  He loved his family, and dreamed of going RVing full time.
Mitch is survived by his wife of 48 years, Christine; sons Jason Curtis of Monmouth and Jeremy Curtis of Salem; grandchildren Dawson O’Dell, Jaiden Curtis and Emma Curtis, all of Keizer; sister Billie Pettifer and mother-in-law Alice Dunn.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 11 am at Farnstrom Mortuary, 410 Monmouth St, Independence, OR 97351, followed by a reception at the Life Center Foursquare Church, 437 D St, Independence.
