Michael Keith Johns

Michael Keith Johns August 23, 1965 ~ July 17, 2009 Michael Keith Johns of Independence, Oregon passed away on July 17, 2009 at the age of 43 as the result of a tragic auto accident. Michael was born to Bud Johns and Dolores M. Rhoads on August 23, 1965. He is preceded in death by his mother and one nephew. He leaves behind his father Bud Johns, friend and dog Maynard, sister's Dolores Weiglenda of Clatskanie, Oregon, and Geraldine Patterson of Independence, Oregon, brother, Steven Clinton of Redmond, Oregon, three nephews, four nieces, six great nephews, four great nieces and countless friends. Michael was a member of the Son's of Amvets Post 1776 in Independence until it closed. He worked at Jimmy's Independence Gas Station for 3 years and for the previous owner for about 4 years. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and great uncle. He will be missed deeply by everyone. Mike was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. Graveside service will be he 10:00am Saturday July 25th at Fir Crest Cemetery in Monmouth, Oregon.
