May Jane Azdoff

May Jane Drazdoff was born to Walter and Edith Wright on September 27, 1921, in Abbyville, Kansas. She went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 10, 2013.
Throughout May Jane's long life she was Wife, Mother, Grandmother (Nana), and Friend. She excelled in all. Her cooking was legendary, from her borsch and rolls to her fried chicken. May loved her home by the river and ferry in Buena Vista, which she was able to enjoy for 68 years. From gardening to harvesting her cherries she dedicated her life in making her home a wonderful place to be.
May Jane is survived by her 3 children. Sharon Spinas and Don, Carol Siegner and Larry and Terry Drazdoff and Jeanette. She has 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Leo of 51 years and her infant son, Randy.
In the short time May or Nana to many, was in Hospice, we thank you. To the people of Willson house, our deepest gratitude for giving such stellar care to our Mother, for the 15 months she lived there.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Willson House, the Tree of Life Fund, or Hospice the Odyssey Chapter.
Graveside services will be Saturday May 18th, 11:00 am at the Buena Vista Cemetery. A potluck will follow at May's niece, Sonia Parksion, whose home is located at the bottom of the cemetery hill. So please bring your favorite dish. Drinks and place setting will be provided. Following the service at the cemetery we will have a memory journey at Sonia's so we can reflect on May's life through her family and numerous friends.
