Mary Jean Boeder
Albany - Mary Jean Boeder, 77, of Millersburg went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2017.
Mary was born to Charles H.L. Gift and Margaret A. (Moore) on April 24, 1940 in Salem, OR. She graduated from Central High School, Independence, OR in 1959.
On May 14, 1960 Mary married the love of her life, Charles W. Boeder at the Evangelic Church in Dallas, OR. They settled in Millersburg, Oregon to raise their 3 sons Paul, John, and Tracy, and daughter Theresa.
Charles and Mary opened "Family Fun Rec Center" in Independence, OR. Then for 18 years owned, and operating Revival Carpet Cleaning. After selling Revival Carpet Cleaning to retire, they worked part time for AC Neilson/Crossmark.
Mary was a woman of great faith, she was a member of First Church of God in Albany, and also attended Riverside Baptist Church in N. Albany and had many close friends there.
Mary was a compassionate and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She took great pride in her family. She loved family gatherings and watching her grandchildren play sports. She will be remembered by her family for her kind heart, generous spirit, polar bear and penny wars.
Mary is survived by sons, Paul and wife Debbie of Yakima, WA John and wife Fran of Millersburg, Tracy and wife Christy of Millersburg; daughter, Theresa of Billings, MT; 17 grandchildren; 26.5 great-grandchildren, and many brothers and sisters in Christ.
Graveside interment will be at 12 pm on Thursday, January 4th at Hilltop Cemetery in Independence followed by a celebration of life at First Church of God in Albany at 2 pm. Arrangements by Farnstrom Mortuary; FarnstromMortuary.com.
