Obituary ~ Marjorie L. Koich September 12, 1923 ~ June 25, 2009 Marjorie L. Koich of Vanburen, New York formerly of Independence, Oregon passed away June 25, 2009. Marjorie was born on September 12, 1923, daughter of Glen and Florence Lunsford, wife of John R. Koich, mother of John L. Koich and Russell T. Koich. Marjorie and family moved to Independence, Oregon from Redondo Beach, California in 1960. Marjorie's husband John, setup and ran John Koich Chevrolet in Independence until he retired and passed away in 1984. Marjorie then lived by herself in Independence and would be visited annually by her eldest son John until she started to develop dementia in April of 2005. She spent the last four years of her life living with and being cared by her oldest son John in the town of Vanburen near Syracuse, New York. Marjorie passed away on June 25, 2009 from complications of Dementia. She is survived by her eldest son John. Private interment will be at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
