Marcia Ann Eash of Independence, Oregon passed away at her home at the age of 51. Born in Bowling Green, Ohio and lived at Fort Wayne and Grabill, Indiana. On November 5, 1978 she married Daryl Eash and moved to Texline, Texas then moved to Monroe, Oregon in 1982 then settling in Independence in 1988. Marcia loved to feed calves at the dairy, Volunteer at the schools the children attended, and loved being a 4-H leader and volunteering at Polk County and the State level. She was a leader of 4-H and received the Distinguished Service Award in 2001. In 2003 she was the OSUEA Cooperator of the year. She served as past VP of Polk County 4-H leaders association, board member for Polk County Fair Improvement association, Past VP of Oregon State 4-H leaders association. She was a member at the Independence First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; Daryl Eash of Independence, son; Dereck Eash of Monroe, Oregon, daughter; Stacy Eash of Independence, Oregon, Mother; Marian Petersen of Corvallis, Oregon, brother; Mark Petersen of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Celebration of Life will be 2pm Saturday July 9th at the Independence First Baptist Church 1505 Monmouth St. Independence, Oregon 97351.
