Marcella Iris Cobine

Marcella Iris Cobine of Bend, Oregon formally of Independence, Oregon died January 6, 2005 she was 86 years old. Marcella was born and raised in Independence, Oregon attended grade and High School in Independence. Graduated from Oregon Normal School now Western Oregon University in education. She was the Hop queen in Independence . In August of 1940 she married James Cobine also of Independence. Marcella was a member of the Independence First Baptist Church. Member of the Central School Board, involved in her church. She loved her garden also loved to knit and needle point, can fruit, vegetables from their place and also sang in the church choir. Survivors: James L. Cobine Son Klamath Falls, Oregon Wayne Cobine Son Bend, Oregon 5 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren Preceded in death by her husband James Cobine and sisters Irene Connett, Mildred Clark and Golda Ramey. Viewing will be Noon to 1:00 P.M. and Services at 1:00 P.M. Friday January 14, 2005 at the Independence First Baptist Church.
