Salem - She was born at Salem Hospital to Mary Rock and Larry Breese, later adopted by Richard Anderson. Mackenzie was raised most of her life in Salem, Oregon by her grandmother, Edith Rock.
Mackenzie graduated from McKay High School in 2002. She loved staying busy with hand crafts, playing games with family and friends, and the colors blue and purple. She always cheered for the Denver Broncos and collected their team memorabilia. She enjoyed living her life for God, making friends, and living life to the fullest. Visiting the Oregon Coast and collecting seashells were a favorite for Mackenzie.
Mackenzie is preceded in death by her grandfather, Louis Rock and Aunt Ruth Ochoa as well as other family members. She leaves behind her fianc Jose Cervantes; grandmother Edith Rock; parents Mary Rock, Larry Breese, Richard and Sandi Anderson; brothers Zach (and Alisha) Anderson, Patrick Anderson, Jared Anderson and Josh Tackett (who is like a brother); as well as numerous other siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 6, 1 pm at Salem First Nazarene, 1550 Market St NE, Salem. Private interment at Fir Crest Cemetery, Monmouth.
She will be remembered fondly and deeply missed until we see her again in Heaven. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Salem First Nazarene or Willamette Valley Hospice. Farnstrom Mortuary is handling arrangements. Please share your memories and condolences at www.FarnstromMortuary.com .
