MONMOUTH - Lynn Chester Cook passed away at Salem Hospital on September 14, 2015 at the age of 69. He was born August 27, 1946 to Chester and Lola Cook in Kalispell, Montana.
Lynn served in the US Army and Oregon Army National Guard for 34 years, 9 months and 3 days. He enjoyed hiking, art work and reading. On January 16, 1985, Lynn married Verna Jean Rowton in Independence, OR.
Lynn was preceded in death by his father, mother and step-mom Joy. He is survived by his wife, Verna Jean Cook of Monmouth, OR; children Michelle Poole of Dallas, OR; Hope Guenther of Dallas, OR; Jeremy Wright of Falls City, OR; Jason Wright of Monmouth, OR; Cassandra Rooke of Monmouth, OR; Jennifer Urwin of Ephrata, WA; 23 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchildren.
