Obituary, Linda J. Hilliard March 2, 1947 ~ November 22, 2007 Linda J. Hilliard, 60, of Independence died Nov. 22, 2007 in Salem. Linda was born March 2, 1947 in Dallas, OR to Earl and Donna Sylvia Wright. She graduated from Valsetz High School in 1965 then earned her Master's Degree. Linda married Royal Hilliard July 2, 1965. She worked for the State of Oregon for 30 years. She enjoyed stock car races and the Oregon coast dunes. Linda was a Beaver's fan and enjoyed their football games. Linda loved her family. She will be missed by all and was a second Mom to a lot of kids. Survivors include her husband Royal; daughter Kari Hilliard; sons Kevin and Kyle Hilliard, all of Independence; Sister Ann Brown of Terrebonne, OR; several step siblings; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Graveside service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, November 27th at Fir Crest Cemetery with Celebration of Life to follow graveside service at the Hilliard's Home.
