Born to Rev. S Dave (deceased) and Lila Lee Porter in Carbondale, Illinois while they were students in Southern Illinois University.
They moved to California where she lived until her marriage to Kirk Lynn Yancey and has resided in Oregon since then.
She is survived by: her mother Lila Lee Porter, her loving husband, Kirk, Her children Jennifer Granera and her spouse, JD Lancaster and Danny Higgins; her grandchildren Alexandria, Julian and Cristian Granera along with Heather and Curtis Lancaster.
She leaves two brothers, David Blount-Porter and Norman Lynn Porter.
Her heart stopped beating on Friday December 23rd and will be sadly missed by all who loved her and remembered for the joy she brought others.
