Leslie Kay Pedigo was born on November 9, 1953 to Alan L. and Betty L. Pedigo in Salem, OR. She passed away on July 20, 2015 at age 61 in Banner Hospital in Mesa, AZ from complications of myotonic muscular dystrophy. She graduated from Central High School in Independence, OR in 1971. She lived in Seattle, WA for 8 years and worked for Travelers Insurance Co. She returned to Salem and finished her working career with Oregon Cascade Plumbing. She enjoyed reading, family get-togethers and playing board games with relatives. She was also quite a movie buff. She was baptized at the First Christian Church, Monmouth, OR.
She was preceded in death by her father Alan L. Pedigo and brother Steven A. Pedigo. Survivors include sons Christopher Svehaug and Kevin Wilson; mother Betty (Ron) Kline; stepmother Patty (Jack) McElravy; sisters Shirley (Rick) Davis, Lori (Rob) Coffman, Melinda (Mike) DeRochier; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
No service will be held. She was cremated in Mesa, AZ and the ashes will be placed in Fir Crest Cemetery in Monmouth, OR. Donations in her memory may be made to the , 4800 SW Macadam, #205, Portland, OR 97239. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Arrangements are by Farnstroms Mortuary.
