Leonard Edwin Nelson

Leonard E. Nelson died October 2, 2004 in his home in Independence. Born November 4, 1917, in Prairie City Oregon. The son of William and Ruth Davis Nelson. On December 1939 he married Martha Hart who died in 1986. Survivors include his sons Ken Nelson of Independence, Oregon; Ben Nelson of Sacramento, Carlifornia and Ron Nelson of Salem, Oregon. 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Tammi Nelson and granddaughter and Both partents. Contributions can be made to Willamette Valley Hospice, Salem, Oregon. Private graveside service will be held at Belle Passi Cemetery in Woodburn.
