Leola Rosenvold
September 19, 1919 - July 11, 2014
Leola Rosenvold, 94, resident of Falls City, died July 11 2014
She was born to Marion Earl and Lucinda Woodruff in Tremonton, Utah on September 19, 1919. Leola was the oldest girl of seven children. The Woodruff children in order of birth are: Marion (deceased), Alvin, Leola, Ray, Irvin, Norman (deceased), and sisters Lenna Newland and Lou Trammell (deceased).
Leola was married to Lloyd Rosenvold on June 24, 1968 in Utah then moved to their long time home of 35 years in Hope, Idaho until Lloyd deceased October 26, 2003. They had no children together but Leola dearly loved Lloyd's children from his previous marriage John Bond, Robert Rosenvold (deceased), and Lennea Steinocher. Leola also dearly loved her many nieces and nephews.
Lloyd and Leola had a large bountiful garden and orchard, which brought beauty and health into many lives.
Leola was a dedicated student of the Bible and the teaching of Ellen G. White. It was a passion she shared with her husband Lloyd. They dedicated their life to following doctrine and sharing the message with others. Their home was beautifully arranged to accommodate hosting for Bible study gatherings and often offered their home to visiting pastors. They wrote many books and created their own publishing license. The content was family history, health, and/or religion.
A few years after Lloyd passed Leola returned to her childhood home in Falls City Oregon 2007 where she resided next to sister Lenna and brother-in-law John until her death July 11, 1014. Leola continued her passion for the Bible and missionary work, always directing the conversation to the Bible and loved to have others read to her. Leola was blessed with family and friends who cared for her with great love and attention, and she was a blessing to all who knew her.
Leola's life will be celebrated at a gathering of friends and family at a later date. Farnstrom Mortuary is caring for the family. Please share your memories and condolences at FarnstromMortuary.com.
