June Diana Kohanek June 11, 1939 - August 13, 2007 Monmouth - June Diana Kohanek, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother went to be with her Lord on August 13, 2006. June loved spending time with her family, meeting classmates at semi-annual reunions, traveling and reading. A devout Christian, her utmost joy was knowing that her family members knew the Lord too. On August 13, 1960 June married her husband of 47 years, Ron. Together they raised two children. Being a military wife, for twenty years, June was blessed to see much of Gods world with her family. For more than fifteen years June was a Weight- Watchers lecturer helping many to reach their goals, while entertaining them with her special stories. June was born in London England June 11, 1939. She became an American citizen and greatly loved her adoptive country. June is survived by her loving and attentive husband Ron, Daughter Carolyn Cameron of Dallas, Son Craig Kohanek of Independence, Brother and Sister-in-law Garth and Linda McDaniel of Gardenerville, Nevada, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The family requests, in lieu of flowers that contributions are made to either Benton County Hospice or the Cancer Institute, leukemia research. Thank for loving us mom.
