Independence - Juan "Johnny" Manuel Reyna was born May 14, 1953 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Leoncio and Manuela Reyna. He graduated from Central High School. He had six siblings: Delfina Oliveros, Leoncio Reyna Jr., Luis Reyna, Yolanda Ojeda, Margie Hernandez and Daniel Reyna.
Juan was a kind, loving man who delighted in giving to others. He gave his family kindness, love and attention without any expectation of receiving anything in return. Family gatherings delighted him. He was always surprising us with calls, just to let us know that he was thinking of us and praying for us. His interests included fishing, reading, and listening to Christian gospel or rock music. He loved to walk his dog, "Ella".
Juan was preceded in death by his father Leoncio Reyna and his brother Daniel Reyna.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, August 28, 4-8 pm at Farnstrom Mortuary. A memorial mass will be held Saturday, August 31, 2 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. For service date and time, as well as full obituary, photos and condolences, please visit FarnstromMortuary.com.
