Josephine W. Mierau November 22, 1917 ~ January 8, 2009 Josephine W. Mierau of Salem, Oregon formerly of Jackson, Michigan passed away January 8, 2009 at the age of 91. Josephine was born November 22, 1917 in Niles, Michigan. Lived in Jackson, Michigan for 50 years retiring from Consumers Power Company. Moved to Oregon in 2006 to be closer to Family. She enjoyed making dowels, arts & crafts and knitting. Survivors include her daughter; Martha Jo Mierau of Independence, Oregon, Son; Steve Mierau of Boston, Massachusetts, Grandson; Dakota Mierau of Independence, Oregon, 2 great grandsons; Moses and Elijah. Services will be held at Hill Crest Memorial Park in Jackson, Michigan at a later date.
