Jorge Alvarez

Jorge Alvarez of Independence, Oregon died June 30, 2005 at the age of 83 years old. Jorge was born May 28, 1922 in Gunajuato, Mexico to Jose and Crispina Baltazar Alvarez. He went to Mexican schools came to Oregon from Texas in 1967 he lived in Gervais, Oregon 6 years then moved to Independence Oregon where he lived the rest of his life. He liked to build stuff with his hands he also liked to travel to Texas and Mexico. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Independence. Jorge enyoyed listening to Mexican music, take long walks around the neighborhood. Survivors: Maria J.
