Monmouth - John James Hubbard, 48, passed away on August 26, 2012 at Salem Hospital. He was born March 12, 1964 to John and Maryanne Hubbard in Petaluma, California.
John attended Western Oregon University, and graduated from Dallas High School in 1983. He worked as a Chief Financial Officer for Pratum Co-op and Mountain View Seeds. He married Mary Carter in 1991 on June 6 at the Independence Assembly Of God.
His hobbies and interests included fishing and hiking with his kids. He loved to bbq and cook for his family, he put lots of love into it. He also liked to take the grandkids out to pick blackberries and play with them. They are his life and legacy. One of his many talents that not many got to see is his paintings. They are so full of life and show his personality.
He served in the Army and went to Officer Candidate School.
He was a Past Master at The Masonic Lodge in Independence Oregon. He was also a member of the Shriners.
His family was his passion, the heart of soul of his life.
He is survived by his wife Mary of Monmouth; son Richard of Monmouth, daughter Cassandra of Monmouth, Daughters Sara and Jasmine of North Pole Alaska, and Son Jonathan Hubbard of North Pole, Alaska. He has 4 grandchildren; father John Hubbard of Vancouver, WA; mother Maryanne of Salem.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Saturday, September 1, 2 pm at Praise Assembly, 189 Monmouth Avenue S, Monmouth, OR 97361. Arrangements by Farnstrom Mortuary.
