Husband of Dorothy, the love of his life, whom he wed on April 12, 1942, father of Bonnie & James, grandfather of Sean & Blair. Born in Milwaukee WI on June 18, 1919 and moved to CA as a young lad. Attended Roosevelt High School in East Los Angeles while his wife "Dottie" attended cross town rival Garfield High. Joined the Army and excelled as an air to air gunnery trainer during WWII, setting records for accuracy. Joe & Dottie raised their family in the Carthay Circle area of Los Angeles. Joe was an avid mechanic and early pioneer of auto racing in the LA area, but made his living building office and apartment buildings. He will never be forgotten in the hearts of his family. As for all veterans who fought for the Allied Forces in WWII, let us not forget that these men and women saved the world, and we are all here today thanks to their dedication and sacrifice.
