Jesse Valdez

Jesse Valdez, 56, died suddenly May 2nd 2019, of natural causes at home.
He was born June 26th 1962 in Dora New Mexico, to Christian and Andrea Valdez.Jesse grew up in Portales New Mexico. He attended Lindsey primary school but dropped out in the 8th grade from Portales Jr. High. Jesse traveled to oregon as a young child with his family during the summer months to work in the berry fields. He grew quite fond of Oregon and soon after the loss of both parents Jesse and his siblings made the move to oregon. While in Oregon Jesse met the love of his life Kathy (Gandy) Valdez. They were at the tender age of 17 and 15 years old when they fell in love.Thanks to the help from Laura and Adie. They both went back to school to complete there GEDs. Soon after they started a family and had 4 children. Jesse J Jr (Jamie) Valdez., Christian W. (Ashley) Valdez, Elizabeth R. (Daniel) Dillworth, Samantha L. Valdez.After the birth of their 4th child they married On December 13th 1988. Jesse worked for several different companies over the course of his young adult life. From working in the fields to being a personal landscaper/ handyman. Jesse loved working with his hands you could find him in the kitchen making some of his favorite dishes that his mom would make him as a child. Whatever he was doing he always had music playing. He was a family man. The love he had for his brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews was immeasurable. His biggest blessings that he loved more than life itself was his 12 beautiful grandchildren; Alyson(Aly), Abby(lou), Ethan(Emoney),Kiana(kiki),Christian(Willie),Marcel(Celly), Daniel(Nano), Tatiana(Queen),Illiana(Princess),Benjamin(Benny Blue Eyes), Jaxxon(Jaxxon Brown), Damauris(manman).Jesse was a firm believer that you didn't have to be blood to be considered family.So he was blessed with 3 bonus grandchildren. Lyndlee, Jeremy, HurleyIn addition to his wife, children and grandchildren he is also survived by his loving brothers and sisters.Virgina (Raul) Zamarripa, Robert (Susie) Valdez, Christina Jimenez,Benny (Irene) Valdez, Mary Bannister, Dorothy Villanueva, Grace (Jesse) Alonzo, Manuel (Janine) Valdez.Jesse is preceded in death by his Father Christian and Mother Andrea, and Mother-n-law June E Franck,Sisters; Annabell Morse, Betty Padilla and two nephews James and Larry. As well as his grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.He will be forever missed
