Buena Vista - Jesse Lewis Haddon passed away on November 19, 2017 at the age of 86. He was born June 11, 1931 to John and Lydia Haddon in Densmore, Kansas.
Jesse graduated 8th grade in Independence. He married Viola Elliott in 1953 in Vancouver, WA.
Jesse worked in the lumber industry at Leading Plywood. He helped haul food at Gleaners, and enjoyed collecting coins, working on cars, gambling and playing the lottery. He was a hard worker and a good provider.
Jesse is survived by his ex-wife, Viola; daughter Lisa Fryman of Salem; son Randall Haddon of Buena Vista; son Doug Haddon of Buena Vista; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by step-son Donnie Davis.
A funeral service will be held Friday, December 1, 11 am at Farnstrom Mortuary, 410 Monmouth St, Independence. Interment will be at Hilltop Cemetery. Please share your memories and condolences at FarnstromMortuary.com.
