James Dale Vanderfeen "Jim", born in Dickenson, ND on August 25, 1943, was called home by our Lord on May 13, 2016 at 2:32pm. Jim is survived by his wife of 54 years Sylvia Vanderfeen, daughters Lisa Peterson and Jessica Tabler, son James Jr. Vanderfeen, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, with 2 more on the way, 2 sons-in-law, and many friends, as he never met a stranger.
He served 4 years in the US Navy, was a member of the Elks Lodge, Masonic Lodge, and Al Kader Shrine. With an extreme passion for golf; he was currently the golf coach at his alma mater CHS class of 61'. He was a retired OSSA high school referee.
Celebration of Jim's life will be Sunday, May 22, 2016 at 1:00 pm at the Elks Lodge.
