Helen G. O'Mara

Helen G. O'Mara of Independence, Oregon, died September 7, 2004 in her home in Independence she was 82 years old. Helen was born August 8, 1922 in Welch, Oklahoma to William and Elva Rogers Murphy. Helen has resided in Polk County for twenty five years. She spent her younger years in the mid-west. She worked for Boeing in Wichita, Kansas during the war years, serving as a nylon applicator. She moved to Oregon to be with their family during her husbands decline years. She was the much loved mother and grandmother to three generations. She was a member of the Catholic Church.
