Hazel WeaverHazel Kullander Weaver died Monday at her home at Dallas Retirement Village with her childrenby her side.Hazel, born Hazel Gottfried in Toledo, Oregon, lived most of her 89 years in Independencewhere she raised three sons (Dennis, Steven and Terry) and her daughter (Darlene), moving toDallas, Oregon in 2006. She is survived by her children, nine grandchildren, sixteen greatgrandchildren and seven great, great grandchildren.Hazel loved her family, traveling all over the world and was a master at embroidery and quilting.Her family and close friends will always have her handiwork to remember her by. Her impishsmile and sparkling eyes warmed the hearts of everyone she cast them upon.Hazel will be missed by those left behind as joins her husband George Weaver in their nextgreat adventure.The family will have a private celebration of her life as she had requested.
