Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Gordon E. Trauter went to be with the Lord on March 21, 2015.
Gordon was born in Crosby, North Dakota to Ed and Mary Trauter and was raised on a farm in Scio, Oregon. He had a strong work ethic and enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
Gordon is survived by his wife Brenda of Salem; sons and daughter-in-law Aaron and Betty Trauter of Phoenix, AZ; Andrew Trauter of Phoenix; one grandson; brothers Gary (Deborah) Trauter of Phoenix, AZ, Richard (Brenda) of Redding, CA, and sister Helen Silbernagel (David) of Scio, OR.
Funeral services will be held at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service, 605 Commercial St. SE, Salem, Oregon on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
