Golda Violet Bowman

Golda Violet Bowman of Independence, Oregon died July 6, 2005 at the age of 104. Golda was born June 25, 1901 in Spickard, Missouri, moved to Monmouth in 1904 and married Charles Bowman on March 16, 1921, farmed during her entire married life. Enjoyed gardening, knitting and reading. Belonged to Rebecca Lodge, Member of Home extension and farmers Union. Survivors: Marian Warren Daughter Independence, Oregon Edna Hunsaker Daughter Klamath Falls, Oregon 4 Grandchildren 7 Great Grandchildren 5 Great Great Grandchildren Preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Charles Bowman, brothers Lee, Clay and Claire Egelston and Sister Leatha. Visitation will be 9:00 am till Service time Monday July 11, 2005 with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am all at Farnstrom Mortuary, Independence. Vault Interment will follow at Fir Crest Cemetery in Monmouth. Arrangements Entrusted to Farnstrom Mortuary, Independence.
